I've been doing hair for over a decade, and in 2026 I finally took the leap to open my own private studio right here in Halifax, NS. I wanted to create something different — a space where clients aren't just a name on a packed schedule, but someone I genuinely get to know and take care of.
Melissa's Studio is a boutique, single-chair hair salon located at Tru Salon Suites on the Bedford Highway. It's just me — which means every appointment is personal, unhurried, and completely focused on you. I specialize in precision cuts, lived-in colour, and balayage — but more than any technique, I specialize in listening.
