Terms of Service

1. Appointments & Booking

Appointments can be booked online through this website. By submitting a booking, you are requesting a time slot — your appointment is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. Please ensure your contact details are accurate so I can reach you if needed.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to offer the time to another client.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or a requirement to prepay for future bookings. I understand that emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible if your plans change.

3. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I may need to shorten or reschedule your service to avoid impacting other clients. I'll always do my best to accommodate you, but this cannot be guaranteed.

4. Services & Results

I take great care to deliver results you'll love. However, hair services can vary based on your hair's condition, history, and natural characteristics. I will always consult with you before beginning any service.

If you are unhappy with a result, please contact me within 7 days of your appointment and I will do my best to make it right. Adjustments are offered at no charge within this window; refunds are not provided for completed services.

5. Health & Allergy Disclosure

Please inform me of any known allergies, sensitivities, or scalp conditions before your appointment. I am not liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions. Patch tests are available on request and are recommended for colour services if you have a history of reactions.

6. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, debit, and major credit cards. Prices are listed on the Services page and are subject to change. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

7. Studio Conduct

Melissa's Studio is a private, one-on-one space. I ask that all clients treat the studio and its environment with respect. I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who is disrespectful or disruptive.

8. Website Use

This website is provided for informational and booking purposes only. All content — including text, images, and design — is the property of Melissa's Studio and may not be reproduced without permission. I make no guarantees about the uninterrupted availability of this website.

9. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website or booking system after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
